The owner, a former chef, runs the yacht like a floating restaurant. Mouthwatering Thai and European dishes keep appearing from the galley. Fresh water usage is no issue with the large capacity water maker. Cabins are well ventilated with opening hatches and electric fans. Optional air conditioning is available for hot days.

News: Complete re-design and re-styling 2010 !!!
After many successful charter seasons, the interior on SY Cataleya is in the process of a complete refurbished. The emphasis will be a modern fresh look with bright colours, more opening windows and as main feature a large dining table in the cockpit to give you a complete surround view of the islands in the Andaman Sea. Four individual air-conditioning systems will make sure the six guest cabins are sufficiently cooled. The generator is located in the forward section and in a silenced box; you will hardly be able to hear it running.
Below Decks
You will immediately feel at home on this yacht. Cataleya’s interior is stylishly designed in natural wood colours contrasting with light tinted interior elements. The teak & beach floor is a masterpiece of craftsmanship adding a nice touch to the homely feeling on the yacht.
Cataleya features two master en-suite double master cabins plus one single bed with their own bathroom and shower facilities and one double mid ship cabin with en-suite facility. Three more twin bed cabins are located on the starboard mid ship area and the aft sections of the yacht. All cabins feature optional air-conditioning as well as double electric fans, double reading lights and opening hatches and have room for storing your personal belongings.
The saloon is spacious with a L-shaped, light-tinted settee on the port side, with the convenient and well-stocked galley to starboard (right side) and is fitted with a gas stove and an oven/grill. A toilet and shower with holding tank is located near the entrance to save you running to your bathroom during the day. Also to port you will find a draft beer tap – have you ever been on a sailing yacht which offers beer on the tap?
Above decks
Above decks Cataleya is huge, taking into account she is 55 feet/ 17 meters long x 25 feet/ 7.5 m. She is fitted with a fixed awning for protection from the sun and the occasional tropical shower. Meals are served on the open-air cockpit area under the shady awning. An additional airy flexible awning is located on the huge fore deck, perfect for having a massage or just to take in the panoramic view of the surroundings.
The uncluttered decks with wide walkways make her a safe vessel for children. One can also laze in the bow netting during passages and sleep under the stars if wished.
Access to the water is safe and easy from the low to the water swim platform and ladder. Two deck showers are located on the aft deck.
