Why go with us to the Mergui Archipelago!

diving in Mergui ArchipelagoThe Mergui Archipelago, an area of incredible beauty, above as well as below the water's surface, has only relatively recently been open to a few foreign yachts.

Having made several circumnavigations around the world between us, we have yet to discover something as remote or as compelling in its natural beauty as the dive sites around the Mergui Archipelago.
Our Burma live aboard cruises to the Mergui Archipelago commenced when the Burmese authorities opened the area in 1997.
Our yacht has been among the first boats to operate here and by now, after many, many cruises, we have a wealth of knowledge of this area and it's hidden surprises.

On our trips we do not aim to cram as many dive sites in a cruise as possible, to cover the largest distance of all boats or to be cheaper than everybody else.

Beautiful beach in MyanmarThe aim of our cruises is to give you an insight in an area where Nature truly is in the state as the Creator meant it to be, not "improved" or "managed" or "tamed" by modern humanity.

If the majority of the other operators elect to hastily dive a few sites and than run back to Thailand or the Burma Banks, their guests having seen next to nothing of the true beauty this place has to offer, than that is their choice. Frankly , we can only be happy with the attitude --of these "Burma Specialists", because this way the Mergui Archipelago remains unspoiled and there for those who truly appreciate exploration.

We try to make as little impact with our cruises as possible, we NEVER leave garbage, do not damage any flora or fauna and also we purposely do not have shark feeds as we believe this is not a natural way to observe these magnificent creatures.

It is in any case not necessary, you'll see plenty without feeding

sunset sailing in Myanmar Where we have contact with the inhabitants, the Moken Sea gypsies, this is on a basis of mutual respect and in no way degrading for them.

If you are interested only in 5 dives per day and not in the area where you make these dives, if an on-board photo lab to you is a greater attraction than exploring a hidden cave in the jungle or if you enjoy sharing your dive site with 16-18 fellow guests of your live-aboard, then you should most definitely not book with us.

But if you want an unforgettable experience, traveling by sailing yacht miles away from "civilization," having amazing encounters, underwater as well as above, then we probably will have exactly what you are looking for.
